CORT

Tukwila, WA

With an opportunity to re-brand itself in the eyes of the customer, CORT, a Berkshire Hathaway Company and world’s largest provider of rental furniture, signed RGLA to design its next generation showroom. With the unique opportunity to cross-sell and build brand awareness for its new party rental business, CORT challenged RGLA to design a showroom that reflects their new business model incorporating lifestyle rental solutions to its traditional residential, office and events furniture rental services. With the corporate CORT red coloration as the key inspiration, light and dark woods anchored by walnut finishes, and neutral, natural accents coupled with sheer and mesh fabrications and overlay components, set the stage for a unified brand experience from the moment the consumer enters the showroom. This design direction sets the course, and serves as an umbrella to ensure that all of the business units reflect the same brand feeling. The infusion of the event solutions business keeps the presentation to the customer fresh and inviting as the showroom ergonomics supports these priorities with key branding focal areas, flexible display areas that support seasonal change-outs, and space utilization that allows for convenient customer interaction areas, and floor fixture and wall presentation opportunities.
